| Who WE are |
1Life is the adult singles ministry of Bethesda Baptist Church for those basically 30 years old and older. We've been here for years but the vision for and leadership of the singles ministry is new and energized! The leadership has a heart for singles and we want to minister to your needs and equip you for ministry to others. |
| What our name & logo mean |
The 1Life name and logo were designed to reflect our purpose in ministry. The 1 represents you, the single adult. This ministry exists to serve and strengthen singles in their faith. Life signifies our ultimate aim- to present single adults with an opportunity to enter into and experience new life that is only found in the person of Jesus Christ. The symbol of the cross and crown of thorns is intended to remind us that everything for time and eternity rests on the finished work of Jesus Christ. Without Him, no ministry is worth any effort we would put forth. |
| Why We exist |
The mission of 1Life is simple and straightforward:
1) We are all about ministering to the needs of single adults in the Hendricks County and Indianapolis area and giving singles an opportunity to minister within our church community, and the communities in which we live and work.
2) We do these things so that Jesus Christ might be impacting and influencing the lives of single adults- 1Life at a time! |

As a single adult you have needs that are unique and you need a place where you can share your unique gifts, experiences and challenges with other single adults. Perhaps you have never been married or maybe you are single through divorce or death of a spouse.
Whatever your situation, the 1Life Adult Bible Fellowship is a place where you can be loved and accepted for who you are and where you can use your gifts for God's glory. |
| What's the point |
We believe that adult singles are looking for something higher than themselves for which to live. 1Life promises to pursue 4 primary ACTS-
• Adoration is worship. You will find an opportunity to praise our God through prayer, praise and music.
• Caring is fellowship. Come interact and enjoy the company of adult singles.
• Teaching single believers so they can learn more of our God, His Son and Spirit, being challenged to become more like Christ and encouraged to live it out!
• Seeking to reach other singles with the great news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to bring them to a vital relationship with Him. |
| Where are we going |
1Life will go where God leads, but we believe that God is looking for a people to join Him in the journey of faithful living as Christian single adults. We invite you to join us in this amazing adventure. After all, you only have 1Life! |
