Bethesda Baptist Church has designed this ministry to meet the needs of persons who are age fifty and over. The Fifty&Better meets every other month in the church fellowship center, usually on the second Tuesday evening. The time spent together includes a pitch-in-meal, devotions from God's Word, group singing and good Christian fellowship. On special occasions such as Thanksgiving and Christmas, a special evening is planned with a catered meal at nominal cost, special music and a guest speaker. Two or three times during the year, the group meets for snacks, games or music for approximately an hour following the evening service. The utmost intent of such a ministry is to win the lost in the Brownsburg area, and to promote closer friendships with other senior believers who enjoy the trips, food and fun.
