There. I said it. We want a conspiracy to change Christmas this year. But, what does that mean? What does that look like?
Most December holiday seasons are far too busy to enjoy—let alone keep Christ as the primary focus. Sometimes, we in “Church World” are part of the problem. We don’t want to be, but we are. How can we change? We really do want to be a part of the solution.
So, help us out. Join the “conspiracy.” Let’s join forces against commercialism, consumerism, and cultural Christmasism. (Yes, I made that word up). Let’s discuss the principle of replacement. What can we do (or not do) to answer the demands of a culture on holiday steroids?
