Application Process

This process has been designed to better acquaint you with our school. It will provide opportunities for you to meet teachers, ask questions, and for us to learn more about you.

1. Orientation

All prospective families must schedule a formal orientation. Call our Admissions Office at 317.858.2820 to schedule yours. At this meeting we will discuss spiritual, educational, and philosophical expectations. A tour of the facilities will be provided as well.

2. Application

Once your completed application and application fee are received, an admissions file will be established for your family. We will require the following information: a pastor’s recommendation, previous school records, birth certificate, and immunization records.

3. Testing

Once the completed application is returned, the student will be scheduled for testing at our school. Entrance exam results help us gauge potential for academic success and provide direction in course placement. Testing for students in grades 1-12 takes about one hour.

4. Final Interview

The acceptance interview is a brief meeting with the Superintendent that allows the family to meet with administrators to discuss test results, class scheduling, and financial arrangements. A completed pastor’s recommendation is required for this meeting. A signed financial contract is necessary to officially enroll your child at BCS.

5. Timeline

The entire admissions process can take up to 3 weeks to complete. Families are encouraged to apply early in the recruiting season. During the school year, applications are considered on a space available basis. Contact the Admissions Office to schedule your orientation interview. For Kindergarten The applicant must be five years old on or before September 1st of the school year. Qualified younger siblings of current BCS students will receive priority in acceptance prior to April 1. Following April 1, students will be accepted, all things being equal, in the order applications are received.
