Bethesda Christian School is committed to quality Christian education in grades pre-k through 12th grade. We combine academic excellence with a Christian worldview so our students become balanced individuals who are well prepared to seek and fulfill God’s plans for their life.

We believe that academic success is built on a mastery of the basics. Therefore, we focus on continually building a foundation of knowledge that will prepare students for more complex instructional situations. We use a combination of textbooks from Christian and secular publishers.  We have low student-to-teacher ratios and our teachers are dedicated to “Pursuing Excellence.”

The direction of Bethesda’s academic programming is to prepare students for success following high school. This encompasses offering broad course offerings to challenge students and to teach them how to learn, so that when they graduate they are ready for the next steps in their life, whether that be further education, ministry, or a secular vocation.

Bethesda students begin with basic Science, Math, English and History, and then can choose from a broad scope of electives such as Calculus, Advanced Biology, Technology Courses, Foreign Language, Music or Visual Arts.  All of the classes are taught with the whole student in mind.

We annually administer National Standardized Achievement tests for grades 1-12 and participate in all state-required tests. The results demonstrate that Bethesda students are performing well above national averages.

Bethesda students attend Bible class every day and chapel once a week as part of their academic and spiritual enrichment and are encouraged in personal discipleship.
